A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of ordering, this will secure your place in the commissions queue and permit me to start the artwork. The 50% balance is due upon completion once you are completely satisfied with your pet’s portrait.

Traditionally head and shoulders front-view work best as they engage with the viewer focusing on your pet’s eyes and beautiful face. However your pet may best be typified on its favourite cushion or in the garden or at the beach. These ultimately take longer to paint and therefore incur a higher cost. The same applies to full body portraits. Please remember you are purchasing an original, professionally painted portrait that takes time and dedication.

Timing

Depending on my workload a completed portrait normally takes between 2 to 6 weeks, sometimes earlier. With the lead-up to Christmas I can get backed up with orders, so please consider getting your order in early. I will stop taking orders when I cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas.
