Welcome to The Pet Portrait Studio. From perfect pedigrees to your just-as-adorable mutts and moggies, I can capture your pet’s unique personality with an original 100% hand-painted portrait. Using your pet’s photo for reference, my bespoke art commissions are hand-painted over several days, resulting in a beautiful one-off piece of fine art, and most importantly my portraits are entirely digital free. I have decades of experience as a professional artist and my aim is to give you a portrait that truly personifies your best four-legged friend. How It Works In Three Easy Steps
It only takes a moment to place your order for a lifetime of happy memories!
1. Upload Your Photos
Please make contact first! Send me one or some of your favourite pet pics. These can be uploaded on the Contacts page along with your details and general enquiry. Together we’ll select the most suitable photo, but keep in mind the better the photo the better the portrait. For assistance on providing the best photo go to Photo Guides.
2. Place Your Order
I will send a mock-up (black/white line illustration) showing you the composition. This is created using the agreed upon photo and is FREE. Once you are happy with the layout and we have finalised your requirements you can proceed to the order your pet portrait page to place your order. Remember nothing will commence until you are absolutely clear on what you are getting.
3. Time To Paint
Once you have paid the deposit, the creative process begins. I will send you sequential photos of the painting process for your input, giving you peace of mind that you are purchasing a 100% hand-painted portrait and that the artwork is heading in the right direction. A finished portrait usually takes between 2-6 weeks. For more details go to The Process.
